My Story

I've been doing this since I was a teenager. I picked up a camera and never put it down. Different formats, different countries, same instinct: chasing the light, chasing the shapes it draws on a face or a wall or a landscape. Thirty years later I still feel the same pull. What's changed is the experience behind it: hundreds of sets, dozens of directors, every kind of production from a two-person documentary crew to a full-scale commercial unit with forty people on call sheet.

My Approach

I don't have a visual signature, and I don't want one. Every story needs its own light. Sometimes soft and invisible, sometimes hard and uncomfortable. What stays the same is the question I start from: what should the viewer feel at this exact point in the story? The technique follows from there, not the other way around.

Working Together

I work directly with directors and production companies, no unnecessary middlemen. On international shoots I stay close to the practical side too: schedules, gear, the small decisions that make or break a day on set. The first step is always a conversation, not a form.
